Do People Watch Shows That Focus On Their Own Occupation?

I was wondering about this; do people watch tv shows that focus on their own jobs or shows totally different? Do you know of any people who do?

Cops who watch The Shield, 24, CSI

Teachers who watch Boston Public

Lawyers who watch The Practice, Boston Legal

Doctors who watch ER, Grey's Anatomy, House M.D.

I am a special education teacher and work with "emotionally distrubed" teens.

My husband is a police officer.

Our favorite shows are 24, Everybody Loves Raymond, and anything on Court TV. (I guess for Raymond, everyone needs a laugh now and then!)
I don't, but some of the nurses I work with are glued to Grey's Anatomy and ER.
I'm a reimbursement specialist...they don't make shows like that ;)
there's no shows about writers : (
Well I'm a mum and I watch lots of programmes about childbirth, raising kids, babies.

But I'm also a secretary and I don't watch programmes about secretaries!
my current job would make a pretty boring show. i used to work in eduction and yes, i would watch some stuff like 'teachers' and 'waterloo road'.
I work in radio. I used to love watching WKRP in Cincinnati.
Yep, my husband is a sergeant in corrections, he watches The Shield, 24 and the reality shows on prison life.

He's also a drill sergeant in the Army reserves, and he watches the reality boot camp shows, and is always watching the Military channel.
My wife works at a high-end salon and loves shows like Blowout and Shear Genius. She critiques the styles and usually says she would have done a better job.
There once was a man that never cooked that watched

morning Cooking Shows, but before he was gone very

long doing carpentry %26amp; plumbing, he was back hours early

for every snack you can think of to see This Old House!
