I have Windows Media Center and I record shows onto my computer regularly to watch at a later date. I want to know where (what directory) the recorded shows are kept on my drive and in what format? Can I copy these files to a DVD or other media?

do a search for .avi or .mpeg than click open directory when you find something of interest. i would look under my documents for a folder called my videos first though. you can copy the files to a dvd but they might need to be reformatted. using nero it will give you all the options you need
