A running PC has two harddisk. Yesterday we took backup from one to another. But today it shows backup hard disk status is as unallocated. Hard disk is shows in device manager working properly with it's capacity.
Please give me guidance to resolve my issue without even create a new partition.

Better format the existing partition alone and re-install OS once again. or try to restore your system to the previous date.

check it on another machine if it is not possible you have to reconfigure partitions.
this problem occur mainly due to corrupt MFT (Master file table ) now you have to repartition your corrupted hardisk , but if you want to take the data back from the harddisk, then you have to use some good recovery tools to recover the data , but before recovery dont try to do write any thing on the corrupted harddisk after repartioning
